SUWANEE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) named a record 783 student-athletes to the 2009 SCAC Fall Academic Honor Roll on Friday. This year's total eclipsed last year's previous record of 778 student-athletes.
Since its inception in the fall of 1997, over 15,500 student-athletes have achieved recognition for their contributions in the classroom.
To qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 for the term and be a regular member of a varsity athletic team in a sport sponsored by the conference.
