MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Millsaps College scored more points

in a CAC/SCAC game. Boxscore
The previous high point total in a conference game was also set by
Millsaps, in a Nov. 3, 2007 game at Colorado College where the
Majors earned the 68-6 victory.
The most combined points in a CAC/SCAC contest, prior to
today's game, occurred during a Sept. 15, 2001 match-up
between Rhodes and Centre in Danville, Ky. Centre won that contest
56-43.
The Majors (4-3, 3-1 SCAC) got on the board first and never looked
back with a 40-yard pass to Dustin Fawcett from Garrett Pinciotti.
The only longer passing touchdown on the day came at the end of the
second quarter as Shane Bowser connected with Fawcett for a 70-yard
touchdown as time expired in the first half.
Millsaps scored six passing touchdowns on the day, Thomas Theriot
had two shot passes for six, and Jason O'Rear and Michael Galatas
each had one.
Shane Bowser, in addition to his touchdown pass, had two rushing
touchdowns of his own with a long of 28. Julious Allen and Taylor
Weaver each added one rushing TD.
The Majors' ten touchdowns on the day tied the previous school
record set in the Colorado College game in 2007. Taylor Russolino
surpassed his personal best 8 PATs and set a new school record with
10 sucessful points after.
The Majors amassed 596 yards of total offense (good for third
all-time) compared to just 395 for the homestanding Lynx.
Will Hawkins paced the Major defense again this week with 10
tackles including a 25-yard interception return. Greg Blasiar
and Marvis O'Sirio also collected interceptions on the day for 11
and two yards, respectively. Joiner Stewart compiled two sacks for
11 yards-lost.
