Trinity University receiver Jerheme Urban was the star of the show in the Tigers' opening SCAC game - a 52-18 victory against DePauw University. Urban had seven receptions for 110 yards and three touchdowns, and also returned a kickoff 90 yards untouched for a fourth TD. It was Trinity's first kickoff return for a score since 1998 in a playoff victory against Western Maryland.
