Charlie Wagner, Rhodes College, Field Hockey (Offensive)

CHARLIE WAGNER OF RHODES COLLEGE, a junior midfielder from Madison, N.J., has been selected as the SCAC Field Hockey Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played Monday, October 26 through Sunday, November 1.

Wagner scored both goals in the Lynx 2-1 overtime win at Centre this weekend. Wagner scored both on penalty corner opportunities, the first on the Lynx second corner of the game just 2 minutes into play and the second on the Lynx first overtime penalty corner just 4 minutes into overtime play.

Wagner is now second on the team in scoring with 6 goals and 4 assists. Wagner is the Lynx and possibly the region's most skilled player and covers the entire field from her center mid position. Selected as a captain by her teammates, Wagner is a fantastic leader on and off the field.
