Lynn Hancock, Sewanee-The Univ. of the South, Field Hockey (Offensive)

LYNN HANCOCK OF SEWANEE-THE UNIVERSITY OF THE SOUTH, a senior forward from Paris, Ky., has been selected the SCAC Field Hockey Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played Friday, August 29 through Sunday, August 31.

Hancock logged four goals this weekend as Sewanee opened with a couple of wins in Ohio to open the season at 2-0. The Tigers defeated Ohio Wesleyan 2-1 on Saturday and then beat Kenyon 3-1 on Sunday.
 
While it is early, Hancock leads the SCAC in goals with four and has had a huge impact on a Tiger team that is 2-0 to start a season for the first time in the SCAC era (2004-forward).
