Lindsey Gurkovich, Rhodes College, Field Hockey (Offensive)

LINDSEY GURKOVICH OF RHODES COLLEGE, a sophomore forward from Eldersburg Md., has been selected as the SCAC Field Hockey Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played Monday, September 8 through Sunday, September 14.
 
Gurkovich scored four goals this weekend including her first collegiate hat trick in Sunday’s 4-0 win over Transylvania. The hat trick was completed in only one half of play. 

Gurkovich also opened the scoring at Sewanee - just four minutes into play - during the Lynx first conference match of the season, a 3-1 victory over the Tigers.

Gurkovich continues to provide the spark for the Lynx offense which has outscored opponents 24-3 over six games so far this season. She leads the team in scoring with six goals and three assists for 15 points.
