Lynn Hancock, Sewanee-University of the South, Field Hockey (Offensive)
LYNN HANCOCK
OF SEWANEE-UNIVERSITY OF THE SOUTH, a senior
forward from Paris, Ky., has been selected as the SCAC Field Hockey
Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played Monday, October 13
through Sunday, October 19.
Hancock scored three goals this past weekend to
help Sewanee beat both Sweet Briar and Washington and Lee. Lynn had
two goals in the win against Sweet Briar scoring the game winning
goal in the first half by converting on a penalty stroke.
Hancock’s second goal came in the second
half.
On Sunday, Hancock scored her 3rd goal of the
weekend in the second half at W & L. Hancock
who now has 13 goals and 28 points on the season is tied for the
top spot in the Conference for both statistical categories.
