CLAYTON, Ind. - The Tigers shot a DePauw Small College Classic single-round record of 288 today and matched their two-round tournament record of 591 as they captured their second straight Classic title. Otterbein was second with a 598 and Wittenberg third at 616.
TUNICA, Miss. - The Oglethorpe University men fired a tournament-record score of 7 under par 281 to win the Rhodes College Fall Collegiate Golf Classic at Tunica National Golf Resort - the site of the 2009 SCAC Golf Championships. Jeff Rein of Texas Lutheran University won medalist honors with a score of 140, just one shot better than Rhodes' Bill Bazzel.
