Schreiner's Gentry Joins TLU's Losack and Zimmerhanzel as Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars

NORMAN, Okla. - The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) recognized Jacob Gentry of Schreiner University with 2017 Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status on Wednesday. GCAA July Release | GCAA May Release

Gentry was among the 89 Division III golfers recognized for academic excellence by the GCAA. Two more SCAC golfers – Garrett Losack and Kraig Zimmerhanzel of Texas Lutheran University – were selected as Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars in May.

To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status, an individual must be a junior or senior academically, compete in at least three full years at the collegiate level, participate in 50-percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 79.0, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.
