Scott Pugh, Oglethorpe University, Men's Golf
SCOTT PUGH OF OGLETHORPE UNIVERSITY, a junior from Harrisburg, Pa., has been named SCAC Men's Golfer-of-the-Week for tournaments played from Monday, April 13 through Sunday, April 19.
Pugh finished fifth individually at the Emory/Stone Mountain Spring Invitational with rounds of 71-73= 144 to earn ALL TOURNAMENT HONORS. The first round was rained out and the final round was a 36 hole marathon on Tuesday for the players.
Pugh's finish in the Emory tournament also earned the junior, GA Division III Player of the Year for the 2008-2009 season.
