INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - After winning their first SCAC Championship last Sunday, the Birmingham-Southern men's lacrosse team will face No. 4 Stevenson University in the first round of the 2012 NCAA Championship this Wednesday, May 9, in Stevenson, Md. Interactive Bracket | Printable Bracket
BSC, a
fourth-year program under the direction of Head Coach Andy
Bonasera, enters the tournament with a 14-4 record, while the
Mustangs of Stevenson stand at 15-4 after losing to No. 1
Salisbury, 11-10, in the Capital Athletic Conference championship
game, April 28.
The Panthers
defeated two-time defending SCAC champion Colorado College on April
29, 8-5. Freshman Erik Klein leads the team with 61 goals and is
ranked fifth in the nation in goals per game with 3.39.
