Aaron Arndt, Centre College, Men's Soccer (Co-Defensive)
AARON ARNDT OF
CENTRE COLLEGE, a senior goalkeeper from
Madisonville, Ky., has been selected as the SCAC Co-Men's Soccer
Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday,
October 26 through Sunday, November 1.
Arndt had an impressive weekend in the net for the
Colonels, as he captained them to two shut-out victories. On Friday
night against Birmingham Southern, Arndt made four
saves as he kept the clean sheet for a 2-0 Centre win.
Then on Sunday against Millsaps, Arndt again shut-out the opponent, picking up another 2-0 win for the Colonels on Senior Day.
On the year, Arndt has a GAA of 1.00, making 49 saves in the process. He was a 2008 All-SCAC selection.
