Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior defender Rex Karjian of Colorado College helped anchor the Tiger defense to another two wins in SCAC play. Rex and the Tigers defense allowed only one goal and five combined shots in back-to-back wins over Austin College and Dallas to secure a share of the SCAC regular season crown and the No. 1 overall seed for the upcoming conference tournament. Against the Crusaders, CC held Dallas to only one shot and no shots on goal. Karjian played 116 minutes and contributed on the offensive side of the ball with four assists (two in each game). Junior defender Raghav Sharma of Southwestern led a Pirates defensive effort that allow just two goals last weekend and secured a pair of key wins to earn a spot in the SCAC Tournament. Sharma also jumped in offensively, scoring the game winning goal in the 87th minute to give the Pirates a 2-1 comeback win over McMurry on Sunday.
