SUWANEE, Ga. - Colorado College's Jordan DeGayner and Hendrix College's Michael Gardner were named to the 2012 Capital One Academic All-District® Men's At-Large teams, as selected and announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
DeGayner, a senior swimming student-athlete from Nokesville, Va., was named to the team thanks to his 3.90 Grade Point Average (GPA) as a chemistry major.
Gardner, a senior tennis student-athlete from St. Louis, Mo., earned the academic honor for his 3.89 GPA as a biology major.
The Academic All-District ® honorees advance to the Capital One Academic All-America® Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
