
SAN ANTONIO, Texas - In a announcement made at Saturday's conference championship, Trinity University's Jacob Hurrell-Zitelman was named the 2019 SCAC Men's Swimming & Diving Elite 19 award winner.
Zitelman, a junior from San Antonio, Texas, currently holds a 3.987 GPA and was an All-SCAC performer at this year's meet in the 500 free, the 1,650 free and the 400 IM as well as a member of the All-SCAC 800 free relay team.
The SCAC Elite 19 is awarded to the student-athlete who has at least a cumulative 3.25 GPA, at least 60 credit hours and earns All-SCAC honors for that particular season. A student-athlete will be honored annually from each of the league's 19 conference-sponsored sports and will be recognized at the site at that year's conference championship event.
This is the inaugural year of the SCAC Elite 19 award.
