MATT LOVE OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior from New Braunfels, Texas, has been named the SCAC Field Athlete of the Week for meets held through Sunday, March 12th.
Love won the Discus Throw at the Islander Open Collegiate Meet Saturday, setting a new career-best with his throw of 50.20 meters.
This improves his previous career-best mark (50.05 meters), which he set last week.
