EZRA ACERO OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITYa sophomore from San Antonio, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Field Co-Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, March 20 through Sunday, March 26. SCAC Track & Field Weekly Release - Week 4

Acero continues to break records with a new outdoor PR and school record in the pole vault this past weekend. His mark of 4.80m (15-9) currently ranks him second in all of Division III and he leads both the conference and West Region in the event. 
He shares this week's honor with Adrian Washington of Southwestern University.

Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Junior Adrian Washington of Southwestern broke his previous school high jump record with the current SCAC and NCAA DIII leading clearance of 6-8.25"/2.04m Saturday at the D3 Challenge hosted by Texas Lutheran. Senior Cooper Tyler of Trinity won the javelin on his last throw at the D3 Challenge with a conference leading toss of 54.53m. He also took third in the high jump with a mark of 1.87m. Senior Kevin Brown of Centenary turned in an impressive performance at the Dan Veach Invitational on Saturday as he recorded a pair of top 10-finishes, highlighted by a fourth-place finish in the javelin (41.26m). He also placed eighth in the discus (34.01m).
