NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference placed 15 student-athletes on the 2009 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Track & Field teams.

JACKSON, Miss. - Athletics Director Tim Wise of Millsaps College announced today the hiring of Andy Till who will take over as head coach of the cross country teams in addition to helping start up a track & field program in the fall of 2009.
January 27, 2009 Record 776 student-athletes highlight SCAC Fall 2008 Academic Honor Roll
SUWANEE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) named a record 776 student-athletes to the 2008 SCAC Fall Academic Honor Roll on Tuesday. This year's total eclipsed last year's previous record of 715 student-athletes. Since its inception in the fall of 1997, over 13,700 student-athletes have achieved recognition for their contributions in the classroom.

SEGUIN, Texas - Two weeks after capturing the SCAC cross-country title the Centre College men's cross-country team finished in first place at the NCAA Regional meet held at Texas Lutheran University. The Colonels are now qualified for the NCAA Championship meet at Hanover College on Nov. 22.
