Willie Polio, Centre College, Men's Cross Country
WILLIE POLIO
OF CENTRE COLLEGE, a first-year runner from
Owensboro, Ky., has been selected the SCAC Men's Cross Country
Runner-of-the-Week for meets run Friday, October 17 and Saturday,
October 18.
Polio ran a personal best time of 25:40 at the
Wilmington Fall Classic this past weekend. Willie toured the
8K course finishing 8th place out of 238 runners. Willie
helped lead the Centre men to a 2nd place finish out of 23 teams.
His time was also the fastest ever by a Centre first- year runner.
