Alexandra Blake, Trinity University, Women's Basketball

ALEXANDRA BLAKE OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior forward from Belleville, Ill. has been named SCAC Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played Saturday, November 14 and Sunday, November 16.

Blake pulled down a double-double to lead Trinity’s women’s basketball team to a 102-59 victory over Pomona-Pitzer College on Sunday afternoon.

Blake scored a career-high 23 points, hitting 11-12 from the field – including 1-1 from three-point range – in just 23 minutes of play. She also had two assists and two steals to go with her 11 rebounds.

Last season, Blake was fifth on the team with 6.9 points/game and third with 5.5 rebounds/game for the Tigers. She hit just under 40% (69-175) of her shots and 8-36 three-pointers (22.2%).
