Eliese Hansberry, Colorado College, Women's Basketball
ELIESE
HANSBERRY OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a junior forward
from Bloomington, Minn., has been named SCAC Basketball
Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, January 5th through
Sunday, January 11th.
Hansberry averaged 19 points and 11 rebounds to
lead Colorado College to a pair of come-from-behind victories.
Hansberry scored a season-high 26 points and had
six rebounds in Friday’s 85-81 victory at Hendrix College.
The junior forward made 11 of 18 shots from the floor for a .611
field goal percentage.
In Sunday’s overtime victory at Millsaps,
Hansberry posted her fourth double-double of the
season with 12 points and a career-high 16 rebounds.
