ERIN FLYNN OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from League City, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Golfer-of-the-Week for competition from Wednesday, March 9 through Tuesday, March 15. SCAC Golf Release (Spring - Week 4)
Flynn led the second-round push for Trinity at the Westbrook Invitational as she led the 49-player field with the only even-par performance at 71 on Sunday. Her excellent second day came after a strong front nine to conclude her first round Saturday which led to a one-under pace over her final 27 holes in the tournament, and a 15th-place finish individually. Flynn’s second round featured four of her six birdies for the event, one shy of the weekend-high.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
First-year Kiley Smith of Centenary recorded the Ladies’ top finish of the tournament, placing 13th in the 30-player field at 179 (+35). She shot an 18-over 90 in Monday’s first round and followed with an 89 on Tuesday.Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
