
KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Trinity University fell one spot to second in the fifth regular season National Soccer Coaches Association (NSCAA)/Continental Tire Division III top 25 poll.
The Tigers swept a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference weekend by beating Centenary College 10-0 before finishing the weekend with a 7-0 win at Austin College. The wins extended Trinitys winning streak to seven matches. Trinity has now won seven of its eight games by shutout and has yielded just three goals the entire season.
Trinity improved to 8-0-1 and 4-0 in SCAC play. The Tigers return to action on Oct. 5 and 7 when they square off against 16th-ranked Wheaton (Ill.) and Loras, respectively.
Trinity held steady at No. 2 in this week's D3soccer.com top 25 poll.
