Trinity Moves up to No. 2/3 in Latest National Rankings

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) released the second week of rankings for the NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer poll and Trinity University ranked No. 3 in the nation. Full Release

In addition to the NSCAA rankings, D3Soccer.com also released their coaches’ poll, putting Trinity at No. 2, while earning two first place votes. Full D3Soccer Rankings

Texas Lutheran University earned a spot in the NSCAA West Region rankings. Trinity leads the group, while TLU comes in the 10th ranked spot with an unblemished 5-0-1 record.

The Tigers extended their conference winning streak to 62 with wins over Schreiner University and the University of Dallas. To finish the weekend, they defeated No. 1 ranked Lynchburg College, the defending national champion.

Trinity will take on the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Tuesday night, before playing host to Austin College and Centenary College over the weekend for SCAC games.
