LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - All seven Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's soccer teams took to the pitch for the second week of non-conference play.
Although Trinity University was the only team to go unbeaten and untied, every SCAC women's team picked up at least one win this past week.
The seventh-ranked Tigers improved to 4-0-0 with a 2-1 victory over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Friday and a 2-1 overtime win over University of the South on Sunday.
Centenary College and Southwestern University each picked up conference wins to take the early lead atop the SCAC standings. Southwestern blanked Texas Lutheran, 2-0, on Wednesday, and Centenary picked up a 2-1 road win at Austin College on Friday.
Schreiner University, which posted a 2-0-1 week, filled the net with nine goals in a 9-0 drubbing of McMurry (Texas) University on Tuesday.
