Bess Goodman, University of the South, Women's Soccer (Offensive)
BESS GOODMAN
OF SEWANEE: THE UNIVERSITY OF THE SOUTH, a freshman
forward from Greensboro, N.C., has been selected as the SCAC
Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from
Monday, October 19 through Sunday, October 25.
Bess scored game-winning goals in both of
Sewanee's shutouts this weekend. The Tigers beat Hendrix 1-0 on
Friday and Rhodes 2-0 on Sunday.
The weekend marked the seventh and eighth shutouts for Sewanee so
far in 2009. The Tigers are 9-1-3 and 4-0-2 in the SCAC.
