17 SCAC Student-Athletes Earn CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors

RICHMOND, Va. -- The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) named over 2,000 Swimming & Diving Scholar All-Americans for the 2023-24 year and 17 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) student-athletes were recognized. Full Release

Trinity University led the way with 10 selections, marking the third-straight year the Tigers have earned double-digit honorees. Additionally, Colorado College saw seven student-athletes earn CSCAA Scholar All-American honors. 

On the women’s side, Trinity’s Amy Benson, Caroline Myers, Emma Hagan, Kyla Foxhoven and Neely Burns all secured First Team honors. It marked the second-straight year Myers and Burns have earned First Team accolades.

Trinity’s Brooklyn Fuscone, along with Colorado College’s Emma Krasemann, Alexis Lee and Keller Pooley all earned Second Team honors.

On the women’s side, Colorado College’s Kate Brush, along with Trinity’s Neely BurnsCaroline MyersErica Peterson and Julie Schwam all secured First Team honors. It marked the second-straight year CC’s Brush has earned First Team accolades.

On the men’s side, Trinity’s Michael Kohl and Nathaniel Early both earned First Team honors. Additionally, Trinity’s Kendal Southwell and Konstantine Partalas, along with Colorado College’s Aidan Richter, Collin Ralston, Jack Hussin and Wyatt Wellehan were all honored with Second Team recognition.   

To be named to the First-Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must achieve a minimum GPA of 3.50 and participate in their respective national championship. Second-Team selections also earned a GPA of 3.50 or higher and met the "B" time standard for the national championship or participated in a diving zone qualification meet.
