SCAC Women's Tennis Recap - Week Three

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Five conference women's tennis teams were on the court this past week, combining for a 3-4 record with matches against multiple nationally ranked programs.

Southwestern University went 1-0, defeating the University of Texas - Permian Basin 9-0, while Austin College earned a 9-0 win against Whitworth University.

Texas Lutheran University was the only other SCAC program to pick up a win last week, taking down Concordia University (TX), 5-4.

Colorado College opened its spring schedule 0-3, but each match was against a top-40 team. Trinity University also faced tough competition, falling to NCAA Division II St. Edwards, the #4 ranked team in the South Central Region.
