TJ Folse, Austin College, Offensive Player of the Week (Week 10)

TJ FOLSE OF AUSTIN COLLEGE, a senior right side from Deport, Texas, has been named the SCAC Volleyball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 28 through Sunday, November 3. SCAC Volleyball Release (Week 10)

Folse had a monster week for the 'Roos as they went 3-1, including 2-0 against conference opponents, averaging 3.92 kills and 4.42 points per set with a .273 attacking percentage. Folse averaged 5.33 kills per set and had a .378 hitting percentage against SCAC opponents, and added 3.0 digs per set in the team's four matches. 

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior outside hitter Ryann Ely of Texas Lutheran led the Bulldogs to two home sweeps this week, including an upset of #16 Southwestern on Friday. Ely had 19 kills (3.17 per set) and hit .356 while averaging 3.9 points per set over the two wins. She also added six blocks. Sophomore outside hitter Gianna Hilliard of Schreiner led the Mountaineers in kills with 12 (4.00 per set) while hitting .357 in the team's 3-0 sweep of Concordia (Texas). She added 14 digs and scoring at 50% on her serve. Junior outside hitter Audrey Cataline of St. Thomas had a standout weekend, totaling 53 kills across four matches and averaging 3.53 kills per set. She delivered a remarkable performance against Hardin-Simmons, recording 21 kills with a .254 hitting percentage, contributing to the team's five set victory. Senior middle hitter Addyson Tiffin of McMurry averaged 2.83 kills per set and attacked at a .385 clip as the War Hawks split a pair of conference matches over the week.
