Camille Sherrill, Colorado College, Offensive Player of the Week (Week 7)

CAMILLE SHERRILL OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a sophomore outside hitter from Missoula, Mont., has been named the SCAC Volleyball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 7 through Sunday, October 13. SCAC Volleyball Release (Week 7)

Sherrill posted a career-high 22 kills in the Tigers' win over St. Thomas on Friday, then upped that by one on Saturday in the upset win over No. 17 Southwestern. Sherrill also had a career-high with 21 digs in each match. Sherrill averaged 4.54 kills per set and hit .252 for the weekend while adding two service aces. 

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Fifth-year outside hitter Mackenzie Logan of Trinity was a big part of the Tigers' wins against St. Thomas, Austin College, and Colorado College this weekend. Logan totaled a team-high 29 kills across the three matches (3.00 per set), including 17 against Austin College in her best game of the weekend. She was also key in Trinity's win over St. Thomas where she had 14 kills and a .343 hitting percentage. Logan is now second in the SCAC in kills per set (3.51) and total kills (235). Senior outside hitter Brylie Nedd of Texas Lutheran led the team with 30 kills (3.33 per set) and an ace as the Bulldogs swept through their conference weekend in Abilene. Senior right side Rayna Pack of Concordia (Texas) was efficient in the Tornados' three matches at the SCAC Crossover. She had 34 kills (2.83 per set) and hit .355 over the weekend and had 12 kills each against Dallas and Centenary. Senior outside hitter Christina Kuras of Southwestern averaged 2.82 kills per set over the course of the Pirates' three matches this week. She went for a total of thirty-one kills and a .241 hitting percentage in eleven sets played. Senior middle hitter Addyson Tiffin of McMurry had 19 kills and three service aces on the weekend as the War Hawks went 2-1 on its home floor in conference cross-divisional play. Sophomore outside hitter Alexis Bodunrin of St. Thomas had 45 kills (4.09 per set) and hit .261 in conference cross-divisional action, which included matches against the league's two nationally-ranked teams (#16 Southwestern and #22 Trinity).
