CONYERS, Ga. - In the closest SCAC women's cross country championship race, the DePauw University Tigers narrowly edged the Rhodes College Lynx for the Tigers' seventh straight conference championship. DePauw was a two point victor over the Lynx.

ATLANTA, Ga. Billy Mills, the only American to ever capture gold in the 10,000 meters race at the Olympics, will provide the keynote address at the 2009 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Cross Country Pre-race Banquet held on the campus of Oglethorpe University this Friday.

CONYERS, Ga. - DePauw University seeks its conference-record seventh consecutive women's cross country title as the league gathers at the Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers, Ga., this Saturday for the 2009 championship meet.

SUWANEE, Ga. - The Colorado College Tigers were the lone SCAC team competing last weekend. They ran at the Mid-States Classic and turned in a 13th place showing out of 22 teams. Colorado College was led by Megan Hurster who finished the 5K course in 20:30.

SUWANEE, Ga. - Behind three top-20 finishes, the DePauw University women's cross country team posted an impressive showing at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Brooks Open. The Tigers placed fourth overall among 34 teams.

SUWANEE, Ga. - The DePauw University Tigers, behind three top-five finishes, won the Gibson Family Invitational. It marked the team's second straight win and the fourth consecutive top-five overall finish.

SUWANEE, Ga. - The Birmingham-Southern College Panthers put together a solid showing at the Louisville Classic. The Panthers placed fifth overall out of 35 teams. Elsewhere, the Trinity University Tigers won the Texas Lutheran Invitational.

SUWANEE, Ga. - The DePauw University Tigers put up an impressive showing at the Otterbein Invitational. Led by four top-five finishes, the Tigers won the 14 team event. Faring well for DePauw was individual champion Lauren Reich.

SUWANEE, Ga. - The Colorado College Tigers posted an impressive showing at the Colorado College Invitational. The Tigers placed second overall in the team score while several runners had strong runs. Among them was Margot Cutter who ran a 24:58 6K to place fifth overall. Junior teammate Molly McGee also finished in the top 10 with a 26:01.

SUWANEE, Ga. - The Centre College Colonels used eight top-20 finishes to win the Centre Invitational. Four of those top-20 finishes were top-10 finishes including Bekah Rehkamp, Lauren McCafferty, Hillary Dawe and Regina Basconi.
