ISAIAH WHITAKER OF CENTENARY COLLEGE, a senior from Arlington, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Character & Community Male Student-Athlete-of-the-Week for the week ending March 1, 2015.

The Arlington, Texas, native assists with Shriner’s Children’s Hospital and he and the Gents volunteer as Common Ground in Shreveport. Off the court, Whitaker is the president of his chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and a member Multicultural Student Association.
The Mathematics major helped lead the Gents to a share of the SCAC regular season title, the first since the 1989-90 season in the former Trans-Atlantic Athletic Conference, now the Atlantic Sun and a runner-up finish in the SCAC Basketball Championships.
