The Colorado College women's swim and dive team notched its first dual-meet victory of the season after outpacing Southwestern University, 170-53, inside Schlessman Natatorium on Friday evening. The Tigers won all 12 events against the Pirates.

Gina Lynch (2:03.45) and Grace Ersfeld-O'Brien (2:05.45) came in second and third, respectively. In the 200-yard butterfly, Tunggal got her second gold with 2:15.76.

After the medley relay, the sophomore led the pack in the 200-yard IM and finished a full second ahead of second place with a time of 2:15.03. Hewitt and Olivia Crisfulli placed fourth in fifth in the same event.

In the 200-yard backstroke, Lee closed out her night with a top finish of 2:11.36. Lynch followed in third with a time of 2:19.42.

Megan Simonson earned two firsts and one runner-up finish, including a top time of 24.91 in the 50-yard freestyle and a team win in the 200-yard freestyle relay. Simonson, Bowens, Turner and Lynch combined for a top time of 1:40.71 to close out the night.

Emma Krasemann and Keller Pooley split the victories in the one and three-meter diving events. Pooley got her second individual victory of the year with a final score of 259.95 in the one-meter event. Krasemann finished second in the same event but followed it up with a three-meter victory with a final score of 291.60.

"This meet started off with great momentum for us," head coach Anne Goodman James said. "There were so many big wins. The event that stood out to me the most was the women's 1000. All three women (Emma Phillips, Sienna Schaay and Lola Muntiu) swam very smart races strategically, and also raced extremely well on the back half."

James' daughter, Sarah, is an assistant coach for Southwestern and the two were reunited after the Pirates traveled up from Georgetown, Texas.

The Tigers will be back at it against Southwestern on Saturday inside Schlessman Natatorium at 11 a.m.
