Texas Lutheran Competes in Day One of Men's ITA Southwest Regional Championships

ABILENE, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran men's tennis team competed in day one of the 2024 ITA Southwest Regional Championships Thursday hosted by Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas.

The Bulldogs dropped all four of their singles outings in straight sets in the A Draw Thursday afternoon.

Eric Moninger (New Braunfels/New Braunfels) fell in straight sets 1-6, 3-6 while Cashton Herrera (New Braunfels/New Braunfels) fell 2-6, 2-6. Both Herrera and Moninger would fall in their consolation bracket matches later in the evening.

Herrera and Moninger will return to the court on Friday for doubles action at 3 PM.
