GARLAND- McMurry Swimming & Diving competed in the SCAC Championships over the weekend as they closed their season at the Garland ISD Natatorium.
The men's team placed 5
th, and the women's team placed 7
th at the conference meet.
HIGHLIGHTS –
Caitlyn Sauer-Newell breaks the school record in the Women's 500 free with a time of (5:19.13). The War Hawks men's 400 medley relay team set the school record with a time of (3:35.17) with the team of
Victor Zambrano,
Wes Scalf, Daniel Kochkonbaev, and
Harrison Brown.
Women's 800 Free Relay placed 3
rd, Men's 800 Free Relay placed 4
th while breaking the school record, &
Wes Scalf led off with 1:44.22, breaking the 200 free school record that was set in 2020.
