SEGUIN, Texas - The University of Dallas men's soccer team lost their conference match with Texus Lutheran 8-0, falling to 5-7 on the year and 2-3 in conference play.
The Bulldogs scored the first goal of the match in the 15th minute and never looked back as they went on to dominate the match. The Crusaders defended well for long stretches in the first half, but TLU would double their lead before the stroke of halftime. UD made a push near the end of the half with some chances on goal, but were unable to capitalize.
The floodgates opened for TLU in the second half as they piled on the goals. Five of their six second half goals came within a 21 minute span. Their eighth goal came with less than four minutes left on the clock. It was the biggest loss of the season for the Crusaders.
