Clarksville, Ark. - The men's swim and dive team placed sixth at the Delta State University Thanksgiving Invite over the weekend in Cleveland, Mississippi.

The Eagles accumulated 308 points.

On Friday, Nathan Jennings placed 21^st in the 500 free with a time of 5:27.05. Tyler Hamrick was 23^rd with a time of 5:30.04 and Alan Ramirez as 24^th with a time of 5:30.87. In the 200 IM prelims, Ethan Spillers swam a 2:02.66 for 18th place.  Tyler Young was 27^th with a time of 2:23.39. In the 50 free prelims, Jack Lopez swam a 23.82 for 35^th place. Logan Basham swam a 28.63 for 40^th place. In the 500 free finals, Jennings swam 5:19.28 for 20^th place. Hamrick was 23^rd with a time of 5:36.20 and Ramirez was 24^th with a time of 6:09.62. In the finals of the 200 IM, Spillers placed 17^th with a time of 1:59.18.
 
On Saturday, Spillers swam in the 100 fly prelims and finished 23^rd with a time of 54.19. Lopez was 31^st with a time of 58.97. Young was 33^rd with a time of 1:03.79. In the 200 free prelims, Jennings was 31^st with a time of 2:01.97 and Lopez was 32^nd with a time of 2:02.95. Basham swam a 2:20.26 for 34^th. In the 100 breaststroke prelims, Spillers was 16^th swimming a 1:02.54. Young was 21^st with a time of 1:11.90. In the 100 back prelims, Hamrick was 16^th with a time of 1:00.78. Jennings was 17^th with a time of 1:01.88.  In the finals of the 100 fly on Saturday, Spillers was 23^rd with a time of 52.93. In the finals of the 100 breaststroke, Spillers was 15^th with a time of 1:00.63. In the finals of the 100 back, Hamrick swam a 1:00.27 and Jennings swam a 59.74.
 
On Sunday in the 200 back of the prelims, Hamrick swam a 2:13.29 for 16^th place. Ramirez was 18^th with a time of 2:26.92. In the prelims of the 100 free, Lopez swam a 51.49 for 25^th. Basham was 30^th with a time of 1:01.72 and Ramirez was 31^st with a time of 1:02.14. In the prelims of the 200 breaststroke, Spillers was 11^th with a time of 2:12.56. Young was 20^th with a time of 2:39.35 and Hamrick was 21^st with a time of 2:44.36. In the 1650 free, Jennings was 11^th with a time of 18:45.40. In the finals of the 200 back, Hamrick was 16^th with a time of 2:13.47. Ramirez was 18^th with a time of 2:24.36. In the 100 free finals, Lopez was 19^th with a time of 51.58. In the finals of the 200 breaststroke, Spillers was 11^th with a time of 2:11.04. Hamrick was 20^th with a time of 2:36.14. Young was 21^st with a time of 2:36.58. 

The Eagles will travel to Conway for the Hendrix College Springs December 5.
