THE BASICS
The Eagles are the top NCAA III women's cross country program in the state after winning the Arkansas D3 Championships on Saturday. The Eagles scored 22 as a team, besting Lyon College and Hendrix College. Four of the top-seven finishers were from Ozarks. The Eagles have now won back-to-back races.
Chloe Weathers broke her own school 5k record running a 18:23. She finished second overall.
Kjersta Lybbert ran a 21:09 for fifth-place overall.
Savannah Williams posted a time of 21:49 for sixth-place.
Ella Thompson ran a 21:55 for seventh-place and
Dakota Newcomb ran a 24:40 for twelfth-place.
