Clarksville, Ark. - The women's swim and dive team opened the 2024-2025 season Friday afternoon against Rhodes College with the Lynx winning 244-46.
In the 1000 free, Isabel Shelton placed third with a time of 13:48.72. In the 200 free, Faith Coffin placed fourth (2:16.57) and McKinley Mize was fifth (2:25.43). In the 50 back, Chloe Weathers was fourth with a time of 31.07. Alexa Montanez was fifth with a time of 53.18. In the 50 breaststroke, Abigail Chauffe was seventh with a time of 46.06. In the 100 butterfly, Macy Weathers was fourth with a time of 1:04.76. Samantha Naramore was sixth with a time of 1:07.47. In the 50 free, Mize was fourth (29.63), Navya Karunarathne was fifth (35.38) and Montanez was sixth (37.12). In the one-meter, 5 dive set, Brianna Devlin was third with a score of 161.75. Jael Medrano was fourth with a score of 103.15. In the 100 free, Naramore was fifth with a time of 1:01.50. Coffin was sixth with a time of 1:05.41. Karunarathne was seventh with a time of 1:21.01. In the 100 back, Jessie Wright was fourth with a time of 1:06.81. Montanez was fifth with a time of 1:59.63. In the 100 breaststroke, Chloe Weathers was fifth with a time of 1:19.13. Chauffe was sixth with a time of 1:44.35. In the 500 free, Shelton was fifth with a time of 6:50.86. In the 50 butterfly, Karunarathne was eighth with a time of 41.09. Devlin placed second in the one-meter six dive set with a score of 229.70. In the 200 IM, Wright was fourth with a time of 2:27.00. Macy Weathers was fifth with a time of 2:33.85.
The Eagles will host Austin College and Hendrix College October 12.
