Baseball Sweeps DH Over Dallas In Dominant Fashion
The Centenary baseball team dominated the University of Dallas Crusaders on Friday as the Diamond Gents swept a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader, both in run-rule fashion, by scores of 14-2 in game one and 14-1 in game two at Shehee Stadium.

Shreveport – The Centenary baseball team dominated the University of Dallas Crusaders on Friday as the Diamond Gents swept a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader, both in run-rule fashion, by scores of 14-2 in game one and 14-1 in game two at Shehee Stadium.
The series between the Diamond Gents (16-19, 12-14 SCAC) and the Crusaders (7-25, 7-22 SCAC) will conclude on Saturday with a single game at 1 p.m. Centenary will honor its 2025 senior class after Saturday's game.

Centenary improved to 11-11 at home this season while Dallas dropped to 5-15 on the road and have lost four games in a row overall. The Diamond Gents have dominated the all-time series, leading 29-11, and have won 14 of 20 meetings in Shreveport.
The Diamond Gents are currently sixth in the league standings while Dallas is in last place (11th). The top four teams in the standings at the conclusion of the regular season will earn a berth in the 2025 SCAC Baseball Tournament held May 2-4 at Dell Diamond Park in Round Rock, Texas.
