Sophomore
Will Barber collected a pair of third-place results to lead Colorado College on the final day of the SCAC Men's Swimming and Diving Championships in San Antonio, Texas.
The Tigers finished third in the team standings with 504.5 points, behind team champion Trinity University (1075.5) and Southwestern University (872).
Barber opened the day with a third-place finish in the 1650-yard freestyle race with a time of 17:30.70. He then helped the Tigers close the meet by joining sophomore
Topher Shepherd, junior
Cole Thumann and senior
Walker Martin to place third in the 400 freestyle relay in 3:11.03.

Anne Goodman James said. "He passed several swimmers in the last 500 yards."
Junior
Cade Thumann also posted a third-place finish in the 200 butterfly (1:56.77), while sophomore
Mac O'Brien did the same in the 3-meter diving event with 375.5 points.
Shepherd placed sixth in the 100 freestyle, while sophomore
Ben Laidlaw and freshman
Jack Higgins were seventh and eighth, respectively, in the 200 backstroke. Freshman
Tony Saenz, meanwhile, finished ninth in the 200 breaststroke.
Shepherd and Barber led the Tigers with three third-place finishes apiece.
"I'm really proud of the energy with our team today," Goodman James said. "It was a great way to send off our seniors, and a great way to finish this crazy unpredictable season."
