Cross Country Women 15th, Men 23rd at Augustana Interregional

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS - Trinity Cross Country Teams conclude Augustana Interregional. 
 
The Tiger women finished in 15th among 35 times while the men claimed the 23rd spot among 40 teams. Charlotte Martin (Southlake, Texas / Carroll) was the top finisher for the women, coming in with a time of 23:02.4 and 89th place. This is a new personal best for Martin, as she crushed her previous 6k time by over 50 seconds. For the men, Will Salony (Dallas, Texas / JJ Pearce) came in 17th place with a time of 24:39.8 in the men's 8k. Salony improved on his time from last year's Augustana Interregional by over 30 seconds. 
 
For the rest of the women's top finishers, Gianna Keena finished with a time of 23:11.3 and 98th place. Emerson Voldan (Arlington, Texas / Mansfield Summit) set a new personal best by crossing the finish line at 23:13.1, beating her previous best by almost a minute. Josette Gurule (Santa Fe, New Mexico / Academy for Technology and the Classics) was right behind her teammate at 23:13.9, good enough for 101st place. SCAC Runner of the Week Emily Gnecco (Livermore, California / Livermore) put together another solid race with her time of 23:57.5. Cali Good (Yucaipa, California / Yucaipa) and Krista Wolfhope (Austin, Texas / Vista Ridge) also had new bests with their times of 23:30.6 and 23:35.0. 
 
Logan Nasky (Irving, Texas / MacArthur) was the next best men's finisher at 107th with a time of 25:51.9. Kyle Fix (Weatherford, Texas / Weatherford) came in 189th place at 26:34.4. Nathaniel Trevino (San Antonio, Texas / Central Catholic) came in at 26:45.4. Trevor Kulhman (Lake Jackson, Texas / Brazoswood), Thomas Melina-Raab (Austin, Texas / McCallum), and Sebastian Langer (Houston, Texas / Clear Lake) all finished within a few seconds of each other. Kuhlman and Melina Raab came in at 27:16.0 and 27:16.2 while Langer finished at 27:18.5.
