Women's Swim And Dive Team Wins Second Meet Against McMurry

Clarksville, Ark. - The women's swim and dive team won its second meet against McMurry University in as many days with a 83-69 victory.

"The team rallied through and won a lot of close races this weekend," said head coach David DeGeus. "There were several best times for some of our freshman. I am happy with how we are looking, given how tired they are with this portion of our training. We are setup well going into our Fall championship meet in two weeks."

The Eagles finished second in the 200 medley relay with a 2:30.51. Jessie Wright won the 400 IM with a time of 5:10.87. In the 200 free, Faith Coffin placed second with a time of 2:13.74. Samantha Naramore was third with a time of 2:17.09. Lillian Reid was sixth with a time of 2:58.45. In the 50 free, Chloe Weathers placed second with a time of 27.89. McKinley Mize was third with a time of 29.42. Evelyn Morris was fifth with a time of 32.70. Macy Weathers won the 100 fly posting a time of 1:05.33. Wright was second with a time of 1:05.68. Isabel Shelton was fourth with a time of 1:20.22. Chloe Weathers won the 100 back posting a time of 1:07.07. Mize was third with a time of 1:17.07 and Shelton was fourth with a time of 1:20.11. Naramore won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:19.54. Abigail Chauffe was second with a time of 1:42.91. In the 1000 free, Morris was fourth with a time of 15:56.98. The Eagles won the 400 free relay with a time of 4:10.98. 

The Eagles will head to Mississippi for the Delta State Fall Invite November 22-24.
