BRONXVILLE, N.Y.—The Crusaders completed the sweep of the four-game series as Sarah Lawrence College softball lost to University of Dallas, 22-0 and 14-0, in a non-conference doubleheader at Mary LeVine Field on Sunday.
In game one, Dallas (5-21) sprinted out to a 10-0 lead after the first inning, adding a half dozen more runs in each of the third and fourth innings.
Brittany Castro had a pair of three-run home runs, while
Emily Madden and
Erin Begle each had a two-run homer in the third inning.
For Sarah Lawrence (0-13),
Hannah Gordon (Denver, Colo./George Washington) hit a lead-off single to start the game, and
Ciaran Rhodes (Haddon Township, N.J./Haddon Township) followed with a hit in the first inning.
Leslie Martinez (Mission Viejo, Calif., Trabuco Hills) added a hit in the fourth inning, while Haley Adams singled in the fifth inning.
Game two saw the Crusaders post four runs in each of the first three innings and add two runs to conclude the game in the fifth inning. Begle, Castro, Madden and
Nicole Frazier each went yard over the left-center fence.
Catcher
Lauren Gray (Sea Cliff, N.Y., Waldorf School of Garden City) recorded the only hit for the Green and White, blooping a single to center field in the fourth inning.

Rebecca Kuntz (Northridge, Calif., Chaminade College Preparatory) had three strikeouts on the day while playing the second game without a walk. Dallas righthander Frazier had 13 strikeouts, one walk and only five hits in the doubleheader, having pitched all four games of the weekend series.
Sarah Lawrence next plays against John Jay College of Criminal Justice in a home doubleheader scheduled for Thursday at 4 p.m.
