Gents Defeat 'Roos 81-73 On Tuesday
The Centenary men's basketball team won for the fourth time in its last five games as the Gents defeated the Austin College ‘Roos by a score of 81-73 on Tuesday night in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest inside the Gold Dome.

Shreveport - The Centenary men's basketball team won for the fourth time in its last five games as the Gents defeated the Austin College 'Roos by a score of 81-73 on Tuesday night in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest inside the Gold Dome.
The Gents (5-8, 3-1 SCAC) won their second game in a row and improved to 4-5 at home. Centenary led 38-29 at halftime and was edged 44-43 in the second half, but shot 42.9 % overall for the game and an impressive 20-26 at the free-throw line to help seal the win over the 'Roos (6-7, 1-3 SCAC).
Centenary remains home this weekend for a pair of league contests as the Maroon and White face Southwestern University on Friday at 7:30 PM and Texas Lutheran on Sunday at 2 PM.
