Simpson falls on the road to No. 6 Colorado College

LINCOLN, Neb. - No. 6 Colorado College scored late to break the scoreless tie and sneak past Simpson 1-0 on Sunday afternoon.

Simpson (2-2) managed to hold off the attack from Colorado College (4-0) for 70 minutes before the Tigers managed to score what became the eventual game-winning goal. The Storm recorded four shots in the match, but were unable to find the back of the net.

Despite facing 22 shots from the Tiger offense, the Storm's backline only allowed three on net.

GOAL SUMMARY

  • In the 71st minute, the Tigers slipped a goal into the bottom left corner of the net from Vincent Luglio, off an assist from Jack Hilliard.
