Gents Come Up Short Against Celts On Senior Day
The Centenary men's basketball team dropped a 68-58 decision to the nationally-ranked University of St. Thomas Celts in its home finale and the Gents' Senior Day in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on Sunday afternoon inside the Gold Dome.

Shreveport - The Centenary men's basketball team dropped a 68-58 decision to the nationally-ranked University of St. Thomas Celts in its home finale and the Gents' Senior Day in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on Sunday afternoon inside the Gold Dome.
The Gents (6-17, 4-10 SCAC) lost their ninth-straight game and finished the season 5-10 at home. The Celts, currently ranked No. 18 in this week's D3hoops.com Top 25 poll, improved to 21-2 and 13-1 in SCAC play.
Centenary finishes the regular season on the road next weekend with games against Austin College and the University of Dallas.
