Senior
Isabel Olson finished in fourth place, equaling the best finish for a Colorado College runner in 22 years, and led the No. 2-ranked Tigers to second place Saturday at the NCAA Division III West Regional Championship in Estacada, Ore.
Claremont-Mudd-Scripps captured the team title with 61 points, just one point ahead of the Tigers, followed UC Santa Cruz (96), George Fox (133) and Pomona-Pitzer (158).
Olson, who placed second at the SCAC Championship Meet two weeks ago, completed the 6K course in 21 minutes, 8.4 seconds and equaled
Kendall Accetta's fourth-place finish last year, the best finish by a Tiger since Sarah Fitzgerald placed third in 2002.

The winning team from each of the 10 regions automatically qualifies for the NCAA Division III National Championship, while 22 other teams from around the country will be selected as at-large bids. In addition, the top seven individuals that are not on teams selected also advance to the national meet. The team and individual selections to the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championship will be announced on Sunday, Nov. 17.
The NCAA Division III National Championship is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 23, in Terre Haute, Ind.
