Clarksville, Ark. - The women's swim and dive team posted an impressive 150-110 win over conference foe Austin College on Saturday with several Eagle swimmers winning races.
Hendrix College also competed at the meet. In the 200 medley relay, the Eagles had a team finish third and fifth, respectively. In the 1000 free, Isabel Shelton placed fourth after swimming a 13:48.31. Faith Coffin won the 200 free with a time of 2:10.61. Evelyn Morris placed sixth with a time of 2:50.74. In the 100 back, Chloe Weathers was third with a time of 1:06.81. McKinley Mize was fifth with a time of 1:14.13. Alexa Montanez was eighth with a time of 1:56.97. In the 100 breaststroke, Riley Holcomb was third with a time of 1:21.31. Lillian Reid placed eighth with a time of 1:43.59 and Navya Karunarathne was ninth with a time of 1:49.56. Samantha Naramore won the 200 fly with a time of 2:37.45. Macy Weathers came in second with a time of 2:45.02. Coffin won the 50 free with a time of 27.82. Reid placed seventh with a time of 33.40. Brianna Devlin won the one-meter 5-set diving competition scoring 173.00. Jael Medrano was second scoring 99.45. In the 1000 free, Coffin placed second swimming a 1:00.84. Mize was second with a time of 1:05.54. Karunarathne was seventh with a time of 1:19.79. Wright won the 200 back swimming a 2:22.24. In the 200 breaststroke, Chloe Weathers placed second with a time of 2:49.35. Holcomb was third with a time of 2:52.15. Abigail Chauffe was fifth with a time of 3:33.41. In the 500 free, Shelton placed third with a time of 6:34.36. In the 100 fly, Macy Weathers was third with a time of 1:08.52. Devlin won the one-meter 6-dive set with a score of 265.05. Medrano was second with a score of 134.15. Wright was second in the 400 IM with a time of 5:11.28. Naramore was third with a time of 5:19.72. The Eagles had teams finish second, fourth and seventh in the 200 free relay.
The Eagles will host Centenary College in a dual October 18-19.
