Women's Soccer dropped their non-conference match with Centenary College. This hard-fought battle went the distance, as the Celts fell in the second overtime.
Throughout the match, St. Thomas would make promising runs at goal, but would fail to convert on such opportunities. On the offensive end, the Celts would only put up one shot on goal; relying heavily on their defense. The Ladies would constantly pressure the Celts' backline, launching 17 shots, eight of which would be on goal. It wasn't until the 105th minute that Centenary would squeeze in a goal, ending the match in extra-time.
In goal, freshman, Penney Sadie would record a season-high seven saves.
Women's Soccer will return to action tomorrow, September 11th, as they take on UMHB at 5:00
